CWQA Spring Conference and AGM ‘Illuminate’

The Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA) headed back to Niagara Falls for the Spring Conference and Annual General Meeting. The theme for the event was Illuminate, and that is exactly what happened. The attendees started the two-day event at the Niagara Parks Power Station Tour. Learning how water illuminated homes with electricity and how the working conditions didn’t deter the employees from wanting to work there. The afternoon of the first day was focused on ultra violet technologies by showcasing some of the CWQA UV manufacturers. The manufacturers were put on the hot seat under the lights of the local Yuk, Yuk’s stage to answer burning questions from the attendees. Watch for this uploaded to the ‘recorded webinars’ area for members only on the CWQA Website. Finally, we all gathered in the Crystal Lounge for a Welcome Reception sponsored by Kinetico Canada.
The second day featured business discussions, the ever-important information about PFAS and ended with a comedy skit by Scott Faulconbridge from Yuk Yuk’s.
