On occasion, the CWQA collects personal information such as names, email addresses, home or work addresses, and telephone numbers. The Canadian Water Quality Association makes all reasonable attempts to ensure that your personal information is protected against unauthorized access and/or disclosure. Access to your personal information is restricted to personnel on a need-to-know basis.
Any personal information collected by the CWQA is for the purpose of providing our members with information, services, and benefits, in addition to marketing and statistical purposes. CWQA does not loan, rent, or sell personal information to any third-party organization.
Personal information is collected and retained by the CWQA through approved third-party platforms such as Membership Works and Survey Monkey, often when members register for events and participate in surveys. Payment transactions are processed through Stripe on behalf of the CWQA. Information about Stripes’ privacy policy can be found here: https://stripe.com/en-ca/privacy. CWQA does not retain any payment information. Please contact CWQA if you require alternative payment arrangements.
