House of Commons Environment Committee’s study on Freshwater in Canada

Shelley Peters, Executive Director of CWQA, had the opportunity to participate in the House of Commons Environment Committee’s study on Freshwater in Canada. Alongside Jason Jackson, CWQA education consultant, she spoke about the importance of harmonized national data and investments to increase attraction and retention of workers in our sector. The committee members were very interested in how the forthcoming Canadian Water Agency could work with CWQA to deliver a Canadian Water Quality Map, which CWQA has been advocating strongly for in the federal pre-budget process.
